With so many kids these days having smart phones and i-Pads, is there going to be a time when the computer is not needed? Do we find ourselves in the mist of a technological revolution or are we just drawn to the newest items?
These are questions that we need to think about especially as new forms of technology come to us. We need to not forget how we once found information and that was by going to the library and reading books. As time moved on the computer and the Internet became the source for contracting information. Today, we still are using the Internet, but now it is just on a cell phone or i-Pad.
Even young children are using their parents i-Pad's and I find this to be repulsive. Although it is good for children to interact with some forms of technology, what is wrong with kids coloring or reading a book whether they are waiting in a doctor's office or out to dinner with their family. Should we expose our young children to these forever changing technological forms or should we revert back to our old ways?
Will the cell phone or i-Pad out weigh the computer in 5 years from now?
